In the present study on drawing & color, texts and various thoughts on the art of painting are presented, as well as some simple basic rules that will effectively help in creating a drawing and a color study.

Along with the visual studies and the well-known works of art, which are presented in the book, some texts and sayings of important artists and philosophers are presented in fragments, without having a direct and obvious correspondence with the images.

This study is not an attempt to present a guiding work, with an analysis of a system for painting, but it is a very general study concerning the reflection on creation in the visual arts.
